You and I
♥

She was shaking. She was shaking so badly that she could not control herself from doing so. Her body was uncontrollable. She was hysterical. She was unable to utter words, but simply hard-breathing was the only thing able to come out of her mouth. She stared at her cellphone with mixed emotions.
She was surprised, confused, disbelieving, scared, but yet relieved at the same time.
Bom was panicking so badly, could not believe what just happened. She stared at her phone, only staring at it, through it, without any words. She couldn't believe what just happened, couldn't believe what she just heard. Did she hear wrong? Was she hallucinating? Did she just simply miss him so much, that she was imagining him talking to her?
No. It couldn't be. It was real, and it was definitely him.
"Ji Yong-ah," she whispered as she started to cry. Not a soft quiet cry that she was usually able to control, but this time it was a real hard cry. She couldn't help it, she finally heard his voice, after three years. Three years of not being able to hear his soft and comforting voice, she heard him, heard him say her name out loud.
"Park Bom..."
She placed both her hands on her face as she continued to cry. She missed him so much. She missed him so much that she could die in pain. If she had one wish, she would wish that God would let them be together. She prayed everyday to just be able to see him, touch him, talk to him, love him unconditionally as he does for her but together with him.
She slowly fell on her side as she continued to be in her hysteric condition.
"Why must life be so unfair, Ji Yong?" she tried to ask in between her sobs.
Even though she was feeling and going through so much pain, she can only imagine what he was going through. She doesn't blame him at all, not even a single bit. It was all her fault. How Ji Yong must feel so much hurt, how his heart must ache so badly, she was a bad person and does not deserve to be with him. She cried even harder, the thought of Ji Yong feeling the hurt and pain she was feeling, it broke her spirit.
He didn't deserve this, he did not even know anything. Not even the fact of why she left, although she left him a reason, she knew that he doesn't believe it.
"I'm so sorry... Ji Yong-ah," she quietly said as her sobs turned into hiccups. "But please... forget about me."

"But I love him too, Chae Rin-ah," Bom said to her best friend, but didn't wait for a response, as she walked to the door and left her best friend alone in the practice room.
She made her way back to the apartment without awareness of things around her, but somehow she still managed to get back home okay with the taxi and walking inside the building. She wasn't even aware of the constant ringing in her purse. All she could think about was the confession that Chae Rin made to her.
What was she supposed to do about that? Chae Rin loves Ji Yong like Bom loves him. Should she just ignore it? No, she couldn't do that. She was her best friend, without Chae Rin her life as a trainee would've been harder than it had been. She owed a lot to her. For being her first friend here, showing her around, being supportive, motivating, and just simply being a friend that Bom could count on.
She didn't expect this though. She never thought that Chae Rin would like him like this, she had always thought that Chae Rin looked up to him only as a big brother. But apparently she thought wrong. As she finally made it outside her apartment door, Bom stopped and pushed her head up to close her eyes and let out a big deep sigh.
She suddenly felt arms wrapped around her from the back, she jumped in surprise, but quickly leaned into his warmth. She smiled knowing that every second he was always there for her.
"How come my little bunny didn't answer her phone?" he whispered worriedly into her ear. Bom just continued to smile as she slowly moved to turn to him without breaking his embrace.
"Cause I didn't want to hear your voice," she lied, not wanting him to know about her problem.
"Oh, is that right?" he gave her a disapproving look. "I think you're lying."
"You got me," she laughed as she leaned up to him to give him a soft lips on the kiss. She broke away quickly, but Ji Yong moved his head down to hers to deepen the kiss. Bom immediately responded as she felt his warm soft lips on hers. She placed one hand on the side of his face while the other on the back as she slowly stoked his head.
She heard him moan from the strokes of her hand, as he responded to her by stroking her lips with his tongue to get permission to deepen the kiss. Bom slowly opened her mouth a little and used her own tongue to play back with his, they were both into the kiss, not aware of their surroundings. When suddenly Seung Ri saw them from afar.
As Seung Ri was finally two feet away from them, he coughed loudly while the couple were still busy with their kiss.
When he heard no response he decided to speak up and interrupt them, "Hyung, are you sure you didn't hypnotize Bom Noona into liking you?"
The couple were successfully interrupted by the maknae of Big Bang. Bom gave out an embarrassed look for she never publicly displayed affection like this before with him. She never liked when other people did it, so she never liked her self doing so either. Ji Yong on the other hand, looked at Seung Ri with an irritated look.
"Seung Ri get out of here!" Ji Yong told him. Seung Ri just laughed, knowing that his Hyung would kill him later in his sleep. But still it didn't stop him from having his fun, his motto was to always 'embrace what you have right now, and just wait for the future.' Yep, that was how he looked at life.
"Bom Noona, I'll save you from him, just tell me and I'll come to your rescue!" Seung Ri ignored Ji Yong and said that jokingly to Bom.
Bom laughed at the younger boy, she couldn't help but love his outgoing tactics. He always knew how to put a smile on her face even if he always annoyed his Hyung. They all knew though, that Ji Yong loved Seung Ri very much though and treated him like a younger brother.
"Of course! But for now, I think I can handle your Hyung on my own," as she looked up at Ji Yong with a smiling face, and Ji Yong smiled back at her and tightened his hold on her.
"If you say so Noona! Then I'll leave you guys alone," Seung Ri smiled as he tried to walk past them without making eye-contact with Ji Yong. It was unsuccessful as he suddenly felt a hard hit on his head as he walked past them.
"Ow!" Seung Ri scratched his head.
"I'll be dealing with you later tonight," Ji Yong smirked at him.
"Aish..." Seung Ri breathed out quietly and let out a nervous laugh. Oh why did he have to bother them? He quickly let go of the thought, and smiled knowing that he had a good five minute fun today.
"Since we were interrupted, how about we continue this in my room?" he teasingly said to her.
"Nooo." She replied to with her cute voice.
"I was just testing you," he kissed her forehead and then changed his look with a serious one. "You still need to tell me what was wrong before I saw you."
Darn. She knew he wouldn't forget and let it slip from his mind.
"It's nothing." She looked down.
"Park Bom," he didn't believe her.
"What?"
"Don't play dumb with me."
"Aigoo," Bom surrendered. "Let's go to the rooftop."
Hand in hand and side by side they made their way on to the very top of the building, it was a place where they could talk everything out, the mood and everything was perfect for just the two of them to be together. As they finally got there, they made their way in the center of place. Ji Yong took off his jacket revealing his thin piece of shirt, as he placed his jacket on the ground making a cover for them to sit on.
"Aren't you going to be cold?" She inquired him with a worried look. "You'll catch a cold, it's 57 degrees right now!"
"Of course not!" He smiled at her. "You'll be making me warm."
"Ji Yong-ah," she whispered at him despairingly. "You know, I promised your mom I'd take care of you."
"And you're doing a good job at it," he pulled her down with him as they sat on his jacket closely. Ji Yong had his arms wrapped around her tightly not letting any space between them. "See, I'm already warm."
"Aish," she responded still disapprovingly. "I think I need to be the one doing this." She broke away from his embrace, and re-positioned herself to where she was completely facing him, and where she could easily wrap her arms around him. For a while they said nothing but look at the world around them happily and feeling content with just being in each others presence like this. Bom stroked his arm back and forth to let the friction build up hit as it was getting a little chilly.
Ji Yong couldn't even feel the coldness. All he felt was warmness inside, feeling warm knowing that the love of his life was here next to him, and that was all that matters.
"Bom, I love you." Their minds were completely gone from why they even came there on the first place.
"I love you too," Bom tightened her hold on him, she was completely head over heels for this guy.
They looked at each other, truly understanding their love for each other.
"If I were to ever lose you, I wouldn't know what to do," Ji Yong whispered.
"You know you won't, I'll always be here for you," she smiled up at him. "Physically and spiritually."
"I'm thankful that I fell in love with a girl like you, Park Bom."
Once again they fell into a comfortable silence, just side by side and cherishing the moment they have with each other.
"You still haven't told me what was wrong, Bommie," Ji Yong broke the silence was again, and gave her a questioning look waiting for an explanation.
She didn't respond to him for awhile, just sitting there with her arms still wrapped around him.
"What should I do?" she asked him quietly. She was really desperate to know. She didn't know what to do, she didn't even know how to tell him what had happened today. She couldn't just flat out tell him, what if Chae Rin hasn't even confessed her feelings to him, she didn't want to betray her and tell him for her. She also didn't want to keep hiding secrets from Ji Yong, after all, he deserves to know.
"What's wrong?" Ji Yong straightened up and focused his full attention on her.
"I don't know what to do," she took away her arms from him and instead placed it to cover her face.
"Bom, tell me what's wrong," he whispered to her softly, with deep worry in his eyes. He now gently took her hands away from her face so she could look at him, and then held her hands tightly to reassure her that he was there for her.
"Chae Rin-ie," she softly said. "I don't know what to do with her."
"Is she okay?" he asked worriedly.
"I'm not sure, I don't know." Bom sighed.
"What happened?" he asked once again.
"I betrayed her, Ji Yong," she cried to him, as crystal tears began to form in the corner of her eyes.
"You couldn't have," he whispered comforting words to her.
"But I did."
"How?"
She didn't reply but kept her head down looking down at the floor. Ji Yong couldn't take that and lifted her chin up so she could once again look at him. Every time she looked into his capturing eyes, she was lost, he would always get what he wanted from her through that.
"I took you away," she said as tears were flowing down her cheeks.
"Ah, she told you..." he took in a deep breath and slowly let it out.
"Ehh..? What do you mean 'she told you?'" she asked confused.
"She has confessed her feelings to me before," he informed her.
"What? When?" She was confused. Chae Rin had already told him of her feelings for him before she had told Bom?
"Yeah, like right before you became a trainee," he thought back. "She had been there for a couple of years then, and she really looked up to me. At least that's what I had thought, until one day she came to me after a practice and said she liked me."
"What did you say to her?" Bom asked him.
"What was I supposed to say?" he smirked at her. "Are you jealous?"
She gave him an annoyed look.
"Aha, okay," he laughed at her. "Of course I had to tell her how she was my little sister, and forever will be my little sister."
Ji Young touched her cheek and stroked it with his thumb, and gave her a heart-warming smile.
"Chae Rin doesn't see you as a big brother though," Bom said to him.
"She will one day."
"But she likes you."
"Not more than you like me," he smiled.
"Ji Yong, this isn't just some matter that we can take lightly," Bom was irritated how he wasn't taking this seriously as she had hoped.
"It's not that I'm taking this lightly," he whispered to her with a more serious tone. "But it's not like we can just ask her to stop those feelings of hers, nor can I just start acting like a jerk to her to make her not like me."
"I know Ji Yong-ah," she gave out a despaired sigh once again. "But I became really guilty after she talked to me."
"Aish..." he scratched his said. "I was really hoping you wouldn't say that."
"She's my best friend," she looked at him with saddened eyes.
"Yes, but what can we do though?" he reasoned. "All we can do is wait until she realizes I'm not the guy for her."
"I don't want her to hate me while she still likes you."
"She wouldn't hate you, you're her best friend."
"But you're the guy she likes."
"And you're the girl that I love," he smiled at her affectionately.
"Exactly," she wasn't convinced. "I'm taking you away from her."
"Babe..." Ji Yong whispered to her, and her heart skipped a beat, he had never called her any affectionate names before. She looked at him straight in his eyes, and she couldn't see anything but the love he had for her. "She never had me."
"Ji Yong," she called out his name and laid her head on his shoulders. "What if-"
He cut her off short, not even wanting to hear the rest of it. He knew it would just be words that he wouldn't want to hear.
"Shh. No what if's. It's just the two of us, forever." he whispered and tilted her head up so she could look at him as he said the words. "It doesn't matter about anyone else just as long I love you, and you love me, okay?"
She nodded her head as they were both staring into each others eyes.
"I promise you, that everything will be okay," he looked through her eyes.
Bom's tears continued to flow.
"We were meant to be together, and soon everything will fall to its place," Ji Yong told her with a straight voice, showing that he really believed it. His eyes were becoming watery, but not falling down like Bom's were.
"I love you," Bom whispered to him. "You and I, it's meant to be."

"Park Bom!" he shouted at the phone. He stayed quiet, hoping to hear her voice. Instead he got nothing but the beeping of the phone.
He became frozen, he couldn't move. The phone slipped down from his hands as the cracking of the phone echoed in the silenced house.
His mother and Jiae became silent as they both heard him shout Bom's name. Like him, they were still. They stopped what they were doing in the kitchen and looked at each other. Their eyes wide open, with disbelief and surprised feelings. Did Ji Yong just shout Bom's name?
The mother and the sister both ran to the living room, and then completely stopped their tracks to find Ji Yong completely still and glued to the ground with no emotion seen through his face.
Jiae was about to run to him and say his name, when her mother stopped her from doing that as she put her hand out in front of Jiae. Ji Yong's mother nodded to her 'no', and instead quietly made her way to Ji Yong.
She softly grabbed his hand, and Ji Yong slowly looked at his mother. And it scared her, he looked at her as if she wasn't there, like she was seeing past her. Ji Yong slowly looked back away like he didn't see her, and continued to stare at the broken phone beneath him.
His mother tried again, but yet he continued to look at the phone. She tried to pull him away from his spot, but he wouldn't budge.
"Ji Yong-ah," his mother whispered to him, to get him back to his normal state of mind. He didn't change.
"Bom. I need to see her," he said like he was telling the phone. Yet a second later he moved his face to look at his mother's saddened face. "Eomma, I need to see her. Please."
Tears fell from his eyes to the wooden floor. It simply broke his mother's heart as her eyes followed him by water falling from hers. They stared at each other with Ji Yong's pleading eyes, and his mother's saddened heart.
A few minutes later, she slowly nodded her head at him.
"Okay."
I think this story is very unique and the plot is extremely exciting :D
